Some other useful links

You can find a copy of my CV here.
Website Building
Here are some useful links that I made use of for creating this site. I'm not saying they're the best, but you could do a lot worse.

GoDaddy
To acquire the domain name.
200MBHost
Free web hosting.
BlueGriffon
A free HTML editor for writing webpages!
Twitter Bootstrap
For nice lozenges all over the place.
TutorialRepublic
For help with all the pretty twitter bootstrapping.
TheSiteWizard
For general website building help.
Mathematics
I spent nearly 8 years studying only this, so I'd better include some links. My Thesis, Height bounds on n-coverings (unless you're into number theory, prepare for a bit of a slog). I was supervised by Dr Tom Fisher, who can be found on the DPMMS website. Here is the paper we co-wrote following my PhD.
Sport and Leisure
I tend to like any sport where one uses a club to hit a ball. The two exceptions being cycling and rowing which are a little more peaceful.

Cricinfo
For all your ball-by-ball needs.
Snooker scores
Live scores from all major events.
CAPL
The Cambridge Area Pool League, in which I represent the Hopbine.
First and Third
The best resource for college bumps and links to many other rowing sites.
CURTC
Cambridge University Real Tennis Club.
CSC
Cambridge Squash Club.
Trivia and general interest
I'm a bit of a fan of quizzes and random trivia:

Sporcle
Try Flag Fragments and Progressively Harder World Outlines Slideshow.
Invoke Office Quiz
Every year I set the office quiz. Eventually I'll try to transcribe everything here, but to start with here's a sample question from last year. Name the countries from their flag portions.
Typography
Important for making things look right.
Civilization V
This is the only computer game I still find worth the time to play and I have been fairly hooked on Sid Meier's game's since childhood. Here are a few of my blog-style descriptions of some of the more challenging achievements.

Pax Romana Aeternum
Win the game as Eastern or Western Rome on Deity and have all your original cities under your control in the Fall of Rome scenario.
I Missed That Day in History Class
Capture any Sassanid city as the Celts in the Fall of Rome scenario..
Longest. Name. Ever.
Have the city of Llanfairpwllgwyngyll in your empire.
Other useful stuff
